Bio:

He was born in the mountains of Darkon into the clan of Gorunn. In his earlier years, he lived a normal dwarven childhood, rambunctiously playing with the other children pretending they were fighters on a battlefield and that they had to defend their caves from invaders. As he grew older, his father, Orisk, the leader of the clan, taught him the moves to start him on his journey towards becoming an ultimate warrior. To test his skills, he set out to fight anyone that would pose a threat to him and challenge his skills in fighting. Seasoned by being on his own for the traditional one year of self training, he returned to his home. Now to fulfill his duty to his people, he joined the ranks of the Dwarven Warlord Hilgon Fellhammer, the army of dwarfs who fought against the Orc King’s army in Darkon. Throughout many years he saw many battles and lost many fellow dwarfs. His shining moment of glory came at the battle of Stone Hall, the ancestral meeting place of the Darkon dwaven clans. The dwarven King, Enotor of Halderhek, had lost the majority of his personal guard and was encompassed by enemy forces. Colonel Bokar Firescream of the Orc King’s army had emerged and began to force himself through the battle moving towards the Dwaven King. During his approach, Balzac leaped from an overseeing ledge and smote the Colonel, leaving the Colonel’s forces without command and afraid. With Balzac’s surprising aerial attack, the dwarven forces gained moral and where able to defend Stone Hall. For his courageous actions he was promoted to the rank of captain. The next stage of his life began at The Battle of Baden, where Balzac’s units used the town of Baden for cover. He and his men were surrounded and came under fire from the Horde’s siege weapons. Balzac and a few men survived the siege, but were captured by the Horde. They were loaded onto ships and sailed towards Fernis where the orcs intended to sell them as slaves. During the voyage, Balzac and his men managed to escape their chains and over take the ship. With not enough supplies to return to Darkon they had no choice but to land at Fernis. There, ashamed of his capture, Balzac left the dwarven military and stayed in a self inposed exile. While there he ran into and joined Pyre, Shayana, and Perrin, who were hiding in a local tavern.
